The Beanies Hi-Lo Diversity Decodables Phase 4 Set 2

Building upon your favourite stories from Set 1, Set 2's blend readers introduce 38 different adjacent consonants, also known as blends. Created especially for older, struggling readers, these Hi-Lo decodable books continue to feature a diverse and relatable cast of teenage characters in age-appropriate, high-interest stories.

This portion of Set 2 aligns specifically with Phase 4 (Blends) of the Letters & Sounds program. The readers employ strictly controlled text to ensure that students are exposed only to the letter sounds they have previously learned. Additionally, tricky words are introduced only after they've been taught. These readers guide students week-by-week, offering a text-based platform for practising emerging reading skills and building confidence in mastering the phonics code.
